Onrus Close Security Village
Onrus, Hermanus
Featured: Yes

Onrus Close Security Village is a stone's throw from all amenities - 7/eleven, butchery, pubs etc. This security complex features its own swimming pool. Lovely mountain views. 2km from swimming beach.
8 Onrus Close is on the second floor.

Easy to find. Easy access to the R43. Newly built - no mess no fuss.

Onrus Beach is popular for both young and old with tranquil lagoon and a haven for many bird species. Pelicans, spoon-bills, herons, yellow billed ducks, Egyptian geese, egrets, common terns, plovers, sandpipers, coots, white breasted reed cormorants and the pied kingfisher are just some of the species to be seen. The beach is also a favourite spot for surfers and body boarders.
Calm, safe swimming can also be found in the entirely natural rock pool (call Davies Pool) in the Onrus River campsite. Although the encircling rocks open the pool to the sea it remains and oasis of tranquillity.

This suburb plays host to the annual Hermanus Times Kalfiefees during August, which brings a cultural experience to the local community. Onrusrivier is home to many artists and offer visitors the opportunity to browse through its interesting shops, galleries and cosy, romantic eating places.
Every first Saturday of the month there is an arts and crafts market in the De Wetsaal in Roos Street.
Walking the cliff paths is idyllic and the chances of spotting whales from July – December adds its own magic. Spectacular sea and mountain views make Onrus your preferred destination.
