Tai-Pan Fishing Charters commenced angling waters in Walker Bay in 2000. The Bay offers Galjoen, Steenbras, Cob, Roman, Silver fish, Red Stumpnose and many more. Kabeljou, Cape Salmon and Snoek are often caught from the boat, depending on the season. The Skipper and owner of the boat, Tjaart Olivier has over 35 years experience in boating and sea angling off South African and Mozambique Coasts and now operates in Walker Bay for the last 10 years.
Tjaart is the Safety Officer of “Walker Bay Boat and Ski Boat Club”
Powered by twin 85 HP engines, a trip will cost R600 per person and last for approximately 5 hours per outing depending on the weather and fish. Up to four persons can be accommodated on the boat.All fishing tackle, reels and bait will be provided. No previous experience needed.
